ACCURSED
A downloadable game
“Once upon a time, a witch was asked for a great favor. The witch granted this favor, but in return, placed a curse on a child. This child is you.
You were cursed to pay another’s price. While you do not start with the power to choose your fate, you will end with it. Will you break this curse, or will you bear it?”
Together you will tell the story of the accursed, moving through the events that shape their life. You will discover allies and enemies, face strange creatures and surprising turns, and for each step along the way you will narrate the emotions that move your character forward, one step at a time.
Move through the revelation of your curse, and challenges that build your strengths as well as your weaknesses, until you finally face The Dark. In the final chapter, you will make a choice together: do you wish to break the curse, or bear it?
In this game, it is not fate’s role to make the final choice, but yours. It’s your role to tell a story that will make that choice interesting, challenging, and fantastic.
Profits from this game will go to benefit the Vermont Food Bank, and www.pridecentervt.org.
The "Well World" (WW) edition of the game avoids any mentions of disease, illness, or healthcare, for a time when mentions of such topics might be distracting for some players.

A truly wonderful game that explores many interesting ideas. I'm looking forward to playing it again sometime!
Our curse ended up being a kind of Midas touch situation.
A really amazing hack of The Quiet Year. Can’t wait to play it but even reading I have so many ideas!
